Exhausted

Haven't had much time to write lately. Finally closed on the house. Been repairing drywall, painting, moving, etc. Running on about 2 hours sleep per day for the last week. It's all over but the furniture now. Furniture gets moved tomorrow.
Thursday night is my last night pitching cards & pushing pots. Thereafter, I'll be babysitting five nights a week instead. Amazingly, to me anyway, I find that I'm looking forward to not dealing any longer. Since I've only been dealing one day a week for the last ten weeks anyway, it won't be much of a change.
That's it. Back to moving boxes, etc. Nothing else to see here. Move along :)
Sorry to hear I will no longer have your amusing banter to keep me occupied for the single down you deal me before I leave for the night....at least you can keep on cashing me out.

just curious but does it get boring not dealing? I guess you avoid all the irritating day to day stuff like bad hygiene/rude/annoying players saying/doing the same thing over and over but time must go slow?
also what about tips? Won't there only be tips from guys cashing chips in at end of (winning?) session?

I'm sure I will miss dealing eventually. I still enjoy it. I also enjoy babysitting these days. We have great staff and great customers so it makes the job bearable.
It's definitely a pay cut but I don't mind. Besides, the mortgage payment on the new house is something like $600 less per month than we were paying in rent ;)
600 less that's just gross, congrats!
